I have to confess deciding what to stock in this section is probably one of the hardest job I have to do. Me and my team of expert researchers (the family always seem to be on hand for this job) have to sample hundreds, if not thousands, of delicious products each year to decide which we are going to sell.

And we have high standards -  everything that we produce ourselves is to the highest possible standard, so anyone else's produce has to be as well.

So yes, tasting all the samples is very very hard work indeed.

We have a few rules when it comes to what we stock in the shop. It has to be utterly delicious and of the highest quality. We try wherever possible to source local produce . We favour fair trade products. We prefer our products to have as few additives and preservatives as possible. Good -quality, natural, simply produced food is what we are about.

We worked hard to find the best that's out there. We have produce suitable for vegetarians, coeliacs and diabetics. If you have other allergy or dietary needs please just let us know and I'm sure that'll we'll be able to find something suitable for you.

We a wonderful selection of local ladies who make a wide range of cakes and treats including fudge, 'The Best Ever Chocolate Cake' chocolate brownies, Sticky Ginger Cake, millionaries Shortbread and others. It's quite shocking how many of these don't make it to the shop!
